Rokkaku Ayako presents a large-scale interactive art installation to inspire a sensory journey
The highly anticipated solo debut in Hong Kong by internationally acclaimed artist Rokkaku Ayako will be the highlight of the event. Rokkaku Ayako is renowned for her tension-filled finger-painted works and is a sought-after figure in the contemporary art world. In this collaboration with GALLERY TARGET, from March 23 to April 17, 'THE ISLAND - ONIGASHIMA', her largest interactive art installation to date, will be unveiled in the atrium of Landmark. Inspired by Japanese folk legends, the installation invites viewers to step into and explore this captivating and mysterious art island. Additionally, BELOWGROUND at Landmark will host a pop-up store offering original artworks and limited-edition merchandise by Rokkaku Ayako, including a limited-edition lamp created in collaboration with AllRightsReserved.
MotifX Exhibition: Exploring the Intersection of Traditional Patterns and New Generation Design
From March 3 to March 31, Landmark will present the second edition of the 'Fashionable Patterns - Embracing the Beauty of Chinese Culture' exhibition. Organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Lee Wai Lee), and sponsored by the Creative Industries Development Centre, the exhibition explores the deep significance of traditional Chinese patterns through innovative approaches. This edition focuses on the Chinese character radical 'grass head' (艹/艸). Featuring a diverse range of designers, including Guo Zhe'an, Mai Zhiyun, Yeung Kwok Lun and Ng Leong Yin, Made by Sandwich, Kong Fan Leong, STICKYLINE, and Feng Simin, the exhibition showcases reinterpretations of the classic character radical from unique perspectives, revealing the multifaceted aspects of traditional symbols in new generation designs.
Sotheby's: A Celebration of Art Collection and Luxurious Taste
As a hallowed house of art, Sotheby's will enrich Art LANDMARK with a plethora of artistic experiences through the presentation of consecutive festivals. Connoisseurs and collectors can immerse themselves in the 'Sotheby's Wine and Spirits Festival' (March 10 - March 26), the first of its kind in Hong Kong, blending exquisite tastes with artistic appreciation. As a prelude to the event, the Sotheby's Wine Retail Pop-up Store (March 5 - March 13, Sotheby's Art Space) will offer daily wine-tasting experiences. Moreover, Sotheby's renowned 'Spring Auction of Contemporary Art', boasting museum-level quality (exhibition: March 20 - March 29; auction: March 29-30, Sotheby's Art Space), will attract global collectors, celebrating the vibrant art market.

Landmark 'Art Walk in Central' Guided Tours
Landmark will host the 'Art Walk in Central' guided tours, inviting the public to treat Central as an open-air art gallery, appreciating iconic sculptures, contemporary art installations, and thoughtfully curated exhibitions while strolling through the district. This journey seamlessly integrates classic masterpieces and contemporary art into Hong Kong's financial hub, leading participants through Landmark's iconic spaces to discover and appreciate unique artworks up close.
The Landmark 'Art Walk in Central' guided tours will also cover two highly anticipated exhibitions: 'Landmark Art Collection: A Century of Artistic Affinity' (March 2 - April 10), exhibited for the first time in the Central Atrium of Exchange Square and showcasing precious artworks spanning over a century, tracing Landmark's profound impact on art heritage and Hong Kong's urban development. The art journey extends to Jardine House, where 'Source of Memory: Reshaping Stories' will display paintings, vintage photographs, and photographic works from Landmark's collection, connecting the city's past and present through visual storytelling.
OPEN and Art on the Move: Grand Street Party in Central as the Grand Finale
The grand finale presented by Landmark, the OPEN street party, will mark the climax of a month-long celebration of art. OPEN will take place on March 29 (3 pm - 10 pm) when Chater Road transforms into a vibrant open-air street stage. Co-curated by HE.R CRANE and Landmark, the event blends cultural and pop music elements, infusing Central with unprecedented artistic energy and rhythmic vibrancy. The party will feature the Asian debut of TRIPOLISM, an internationally renowned electronic music trio, delivering a stunning live performance. Simultaneously, Landmark will collaborate with HKwalls for their 2026 annual art festival grand finale. The public will have the opportunity to witness the creation of avant-garde street art up close on the 'Art on the Move' art truck and interact with a mural by artist Mooncasket.
